FLY!1 DOWNLOADS

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Simvol.org says that the numerous Fly!1 add-ons / downloads mentioned on their site are available for download at avsim.com

As I hard as I tried I could not locate anywhere in the Avsim libraries any of those files.

Any ideas where I can get them from?

Thanks in advance

Hi Manos,

Apologies for the delay in answering.  Unfortunately - due to the Avsim Hack a few years ago, many files were lost and the Fly! Series was among those hardest hit. Nearly all Fly! / Fly!2k files were lost and a good majority of the Fly! II files. As many of the developers of those files have moved on and no longer have valid email addresses it is very difficult to find them and ask them to / or ask for permission to re-upload those files. Regrettably those files are virtually lost forever.

yep, mine disappeared then I believe. Having moved to MSFS and changed several times of computers since, they are also lost on my side. If anybody had them still, I would have no objection for them to be uploaded again with my original readme, specially my Reno-Tahoe scenery. I'm not sure it has aged so well though. But that was the OrbX of the time, DIY OrbX  (I miss Terrascene sometimes)  !

Hi Dominique! Happy New Year!  Was the scenery for Fly! or Fly! II? I'll go through my files and if I have the right one, I'll refer theLib staff to this post and see if they will let me upload it.

Cheers,

Ken

We're in luck, Dominique! It was for Fly! II and I do have an intact zipfile on hand. Will see what I can do over the next couple days...

Cheers,

Ken
