September 18, 201312 yr I was in my QW146 at about FL210, and I had to pause to go out to the mall. When I came back (about an hour later), I unpause and the A/T is not moving the throttles to the CLB NORM stage it should be in. My N1 is also reading 51% and it is not increasing. I disengage the autothrottle and try moving my throttles for manual engine control. The in-game throttles will not move when I physically move my Saitek X52 Throttle Quadrant, so I try resetting the throttle controls and reassigning them to my X52. This does not solve the issue. I then proceed to trying to move the throttles with my mouse, and this works. Does anyone know what caused this? Is this a common issue? Are there things I can do to keep this from happening in the future? Just restart your PC and test with default FSX aircraft to make sure your X552 (I use it also) is ok. That's what I thought too. It couldn't of been though, because I remember remapping the throttle axis in the controls. Anyways, I figured out what causes this. Here's how it does it on mine: I pause with the autothrottle on and in LNAV/VNAV with NAV1 CMD controlling the plane. I take a screenshot while paused. And bam! It does the throttle glitch, although throttle response does come back after about 30 seconds or so. Anyways, not a big deal. Just a minor quirk with this fantastic addon.
