September 21, 201312 yr Good Morning, Alex: TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=80 - make this 120 FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.15 - make this one 0.20 and increase again if still blurries. You don't need "PoolSize" in the cfg, as 8388608 is the default value. That's all I see as "what I would change", Alex. Try it, test it. I think the FFTF will cure the problem. September 23, 201312 yr Hi Paul, I have just done some more testing. Increasing the FTFF does help, but also lowers my FPS so I guess that I need to find a balance there I have increased my LOD radius to 6.5 which didn't seem to impact performance as much and everything in flight looks much better. It's a shame that contrary to what I read from others, anything below 30 FPS is actually less smooth compared to DX9 for me. Once steady at 30, my sim is as smooth as I have never experienced before. This could be due to the 1/2 vsync setting though. I will just need to do some more tweaking to get most out of my sim. Thanks again, Alex Best regards, Alexander Rietveld
September 23, 201312 yr OK.. BufferPools... Try a BP of "0", first, and do some multiple, repeatable circuits in a heavyish area: Then try the same flight, but with:- BufferPools = 1 RejectThreshold = 524288 Then try the same flight, but with:- BufferPools = 1 PoolSize = 10485760 RejectThreshold = 524288 OK! See how it responds.. The 10th icon along the top, starting at the House - is a funnel thingy... If you click on it your screen will show only the bits you want to see. It's like using one page instead of two - cuts down on pixel usage, so they last longer.... :Straight Face: i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
