September 20, 201312 yr Help! I have Windows 8 with 3 x 24" HD monitors and just installed the Gold Edition. I can't find [Display] section in fsx.cfg!!! I have looked everywhere! I have permission to view hidden files and folders. Trying to add or edit the "WideViewAspect" to =True. All answers I have found by searching relate to windows 7 and everyone seems to be able to find it there, but I can't find it! Please help!!!

September 21, 201312 yr Delete the Fsx.cfg, restart FSX and let the config rebuild. Windows 8 will not hide anything inside the config. Of course, the folder where the Fsx.cfg resides is hidden. When you restart FSX, right click the icon and make sure you run it as the Administrator. Best regards, Jim Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! September 21, 201312 yr After following what Jim said, run Bojote's tweaking tool (http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html). This will set some optimal settings and I believe that there are quite a few display tweaks in there. Thanks, Kevin L
