LED TV problems

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I just purchased a Samsung LED 40" 6030 series for my computer: NVIDEA GTX 560Ti, 1080P, 1920x1080 60Hz

                                                                                                            Windows 7, processor intel ® core i7-2700K

                                                                                                            cpu@ 3.50 GHz

memory (RAM) 8.0 GB, sys type: 64 bit

I'm having problems with the resolution, low frame rates and slow mouse reaction. It looks fine viewing the internet but FSX is horrible.

I have tried playing with the settings on the monitor and the computer with no good results.

Thanks for any input.

regards

I have an older 42" Samsung with a fairly similar rig and typically get 25-30 FPS in the more frame hungry aircraft (Citation Mustang being one of them) but I'm not sure about your settings. My resolution is set to 1920x1080, my picture size set to "Just Scan".  I run in windowed mode with FSX taking up all but the top one inch of the screen.  Make sure your resolution in FSX is set to 1920x1080x32.  The resolution of 1920x1080 on a larger TV will have larger pixels so it's a tradeoff.  I enjoy seeing everything life size so I like it.  See if any of that helps.
