September 23, 201312 yr When I select PMDG 777 at aircraft menu, "WARNING: the PMDG product was unable to create its work files. Please make sure you are running Flight simulator X as administrator" window pops up. FSX is installed outside C:\Program files folder, run as admin and UAC is off. The last thing I installed is PMDG Ops Center update. Before that, the 777 worked fine. NGX works OK. September 23, 201312 yr Author UPDATE: NGX doesn't work neither, there is no the pop up window, but it doesn't load databases into FMS. Lj. Prodanovic

September 23, 201312 yr Author Everything worked before I updated PMDG Ops Center. I have been busy with my RW training for a week or so, and didn't have time to install anything. September 23, 201312 yr Author Check to make sure some of your files aren't read only. Not sure why it happens, but someone mentioned it a little while ago. I opened FSX folder to check for read only files and I found a surprise: there is no PMDG folder at all! So I tought, ##### is going on here and eventually I remembered: week ago I edited some navdata files because of new procedures at my home airport, and accidentally I moved the whole PMDG folder into Modules folder. I was too lazy to move it back immediately, and forgot about that. So, it's user error, solved, and ready for closure. Any chance you can give me some tips or links on that? Rob Robson
September 23, 201312 yr Author Interesting! I did know you can adapt navdata files. Any chance you can give me some tips or links on that? You can open any of navdata files with notepad and edit airways, airports, navaids and fixes. It's straight forward and self explanatory. When you open the files you will see. March 26, 201412 yr Im having this problem where i load up my pmdg 777 and i load cold and dark, i am starting it up when i look up and notice the building that wads just in front of me is gone i go to external view and i cant see my aircraft anymore but its still there, it keeps doing this and every time i load up it takes about 5 mins or so for my textures to fail. I am not running any scenery mods or anything just default fsx. By the way when i start up my FSX and select the 777 on free flight screen there is a window that pops up that says "WARNING: the PMDG product was unable to create its work files. Please make sure you are running Flight simulator X as administrator" So i did that and the window goes away but the problems still there. This is so frustrating if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
