September 24, 201312 yr I've been operating with Steve's freeware fixes. Now that I have purchased the fixer, what do I do with the old file? Do I uninstall it, or can the fixer overwrite old files? thanks tony
September 24, 201312 yr Hi Tony: If you still have the old ShadersHLSL folder - delete the patched version and put the original one back in. It raises too many questions, about "greyed-out" check boxes. If you don't have the old one - you can have this one here. (I'm giving them away free, today only!) Such a deal... i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
September 24, 201312 yr Author I am glad I had asked. Yes, I had deleted the old one and thrashed it. Thanks for making the file available. tc
September 24, 201312 yr Hello Tony Just adding to what Paul J wrote: Once you download the file, check it's properties. (select and right click)If you see an Unblock button at bottom of the applet; click it and then extract the files. it will remove the read only attribute and other security stuff from the zip and its contents. Cheers. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
