September 27, 201312 yr Hi, I have issues with my throttletek during Takeoff ,TO/GA , FLCH where the throttle has its own life making it not so much fun to use. I have no issues with the NGX and only use FSX internal controls for calibrating and assigning the axis. When using FSUIPC for calibrating the axis i get CTD when i use the NGX and it still does not perform well in the T7. I know there is some forums on setting it up in FSUIPC to overcome these issues and i have taken that part about calibrating the axis in there. Plug and pray ? :-) Btw. Is it correct (normal) that A/T can re-engage itself during Approach? (I have not read the FCOM yet ,sorry) Michael Moe
September 27, 201312 yr (...) Btw. Is it correct (normal) that A/T can re-engage itself during Approach? (I have not read the FCOM yet ,sorry) Michael Moe Yes, when it's still armed and you're approaching the stall area. Should you ever bother with reading the FCOM ( ), search for something like "auto"/"throttle"/"wake"/"up"/"mode". B) What happened to AVSIM
September 27, 201312 yr If you havn't entered a Zero Fuel weight, or gross weight, the Autothrottle "Low Speed" protection will assume you are at max takeoff weight. Once you slow down past about 155 knots it will think you are about to stall and apply power to keep you out of low speed range. If you have entered your weights, the low speed protection will take this info into account and will apply power to keep you out of low speed range at the appropriate speed (ie 135kts or whatever) Trent Hopkinson, 2015 Crewmember of www.mangrove.com.au WorldFlight sim Youtube channel www.youtube.com/user/musicalaviator
