October 2, 201312 yr Hi guys Bit of a problem with my latest flight from Paris to St Marten. Basically the thrust is stuck at 84.3 N1 and will not increase to reach the cruise speed (.84). I can manually increase the throttle to stop the plane from stalling. This has never happened before and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue?
October 2, 201312 yr What were your FMC A/T options: - never override throttles (by hardware thrust lever angle) - override in HOLD mode only - always override? What happened to AVSIM
October 2, 201312 yr Author I had to override it manually otherwise i would of stalled as like i said the N1 is stuck at 84.3 when A/T is engaged, it doesn't respond or increase throttle like it should to reach cruise speed.
October 2, 201312 yr There are simulation options included in the FMC, where you can allow, or disable, your hardware throttles to override the commanded autothrust: Imagine, autothrust commanded by the T7 was o.k., but some small movement of your physical thrust lever(s) overrode it ... What happened to AVSIM
October 2, 201312 yr The airplane doesn't always fly at exactly cruise level speeds. It is very dependent on winds, temperature, cost index, etc.
October 2, 201312 yr Author That's true but that's not the problem, the auto throttle isn't increasing the N1 to get to cruise speed.
