Windows 8 isn't officially supported by PMDG, and many people have reported FSX having issues with Win 8, but then some people have no problems. As for the key, I believe that if you aren't using the old computer anymore you can activate it on the new one and if you have a problem, send PMDG a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com Steve Caffey
October 4, 201312 yr Commercial Member Avoid Windows 8 in general. Put Windows 7 on it. Buy your computer for the hardware - forget the OS - you can change that easily. Best regards, Robin.
