MCE not recognizing license - suddenly (sort of)

Recommended Posts

Haven't used MCE for a bit but now when I try it says trial period up, check license key etc.  Cannot access the command menu.  Have recopied the license file into the MCE folder (where it already was), makes no difference.  This is a new build machine from when got license, is that it?.

And what is the "activator" in Tools then please - it refers to "serial"     Also had voice packs but can't see them to update.

Flummoxed. Sorry, can't see any previous on this

Thanks, Mike

Hi,

I've had the same problem ! You changed something in your computer so the machine ID changed. So you need a new acivitation process to receive a new licene.key.

Yes, I'd built a new machine.  Have been in contact with Ben from MCE following above from MCE and it's now all sorted, very quickly.  He/they have been extremely helpful - another example of the great support from the MCE team.  Thanks to all of them.

Cheers, Mike
