I am new to this game and am probably doing something wrong. I have the Airbus A380 by Graviton Mediatech and can't get the auto throttle to work the light comes on but won't take over from the joystick lever.

I dont have the aircraft, or indeed any airbus aircraft, but I do seem to remember that you have a push/pull button below the speed window. You may need to push the button to "maintain current airspeed", or pull the button to "aquire selected airspeed".  The light you are seeing is just confirming the A/T is armed.

Try this go to the main fs9 folder open the A380 file,open the aircraft file and check to see if the autothrottle is checked 1 if o change to 1 as seen below.
