Scenery lights lighting up aircraft.

Featured Replies

As the title suggests is it or would it ever be possible for lighting at airports to light up aircraft on the apron, stands etc? It's a shame when you look from an external view and see dark shapes of wings and fuselages.

There's a trick for scenery designers regarding special materials for light polygons, but the polygons themselves become visible during low visibility conditions. Not quite what the spoilt simmer wants.

So overall...no. No global solution.

Not in FSX because it doesn't have global lighting. But what you're looking for is supposed to be one of the features in P3D 2.0.

So currently signs don't look good. Don't forget they said that a fully functional WX radar wasn't possible too and the folks at Active Sky have made it so. I whole heartedly accept it is possible now but I'm sure one day some bright spark will figure it out. Well here's hoping anyway.
