Hey pilots,

 

  I had stopped flying since quite a long time and decided to take it up again, so quite rusty.

 

 I first installed FSX on my Toshiba Satellite (made a post in the hardware section - Display - for Nvidia Inspector settings), right now she is running quite well and without any addons.

 

 Then installed on my Sig rig, using Catalyst 13.9 with the following settings in FSX and CCC :

 

 BTW I had done the Bojotes tuning with DX10 patching.

 

 FSX settings :

 

  Resolution 3200x900 (Eyefinity)

  Filerting - Anisotropic

  Global Texture Resolution - Very High

  Lens Flare - 0

  Lens Bloom - 0

  Advanced Animations - Checked.

 

  Aircraft on Medium High.

 

 Scenery settings :

 

 

 LOD - Medium

 Mesh Complexity - 75

 Mesh Resolution - 38m

 Texture Resoultion - 1m

 Water Effects - High 1.x

 Land Detail Textures - Checked

 Scenery Complexity - Dense

 Autogen Density - Dense

 Special Effects - NIL

 Weather - default (Using Vatsim and IVAO now)

 

 

 Traffic -  46

And @EDDF 35-xx fps (I have locked it to 41) , EHAM 35-29 again. KLGA 35-23. If I keep my Autogen to Dense I should get an increase by 5 fps.

 

Now these were the test beds.

 

But one thing, the moment I hit Vatsim or IVAO and that are had bad weather I will loose around 10-12 fps.  But this is the first time that I am getting this on my Sig rig IIRC. 

 

 BTW I AM NOT USING ANY ADD ON and probably won't except NL2000, FT152 and the Grob 115E Tutor.

 

 Please do not start any flame wars. This is just for knowledge if anyone is using AMD rigs.

 

 I may test by changing the settings later right now I just want to enjoy the flights .

But now I am removing the desktop due to a high power bill :(.  So I have to stick to my Toshiba which has both FSX and FS9 and FSX runs quite well. Though I shall be purchasing the Qosimo in a couple of Months time.
