March 29, 201412 yr You have to disable UAC and any anti-virus program and then install FSX as the Administrator. For disabling your UAC in Windows 8, see this link - http://www.eightforums.com/system-security/2434-disable-uac-completely.html. Windows 8 threw in a lot more security to keep evil people from breaking into your computer and has made it difficult for FSX users too.
