October 23, 201312 yr 2. Double and Triple Check that your current version is installed in a sub directory of program files. If not see note at end. NOTE - IF you have installed DX10SceneryFixer into your FSX directory, then do NOT UNINSTALL. Start at Step4 and install the new version into the default location. And how about installing it OUTSIDE of program files directory but NOT INTO FSX directory? In my case I installed in C:\DX10SceneryFixer directory. So how do I proceed? Will I be able to revert back to the same fs9 (before the fixer) yet after the update? Thanks, Dirk.
October 23, 201312 yr Acc. to SteveFSX explanations it is a must not to install the DX10fixer into the FSX directory. So, you have done it right. You can easily revert back from DX10 <-> DX9. Everything is well explained in the accompanying manual from the DX10fixer.
