Navigraph vs Aerosoft

Featured Replies

Hi, I need to update me nav data and I was wondering which one I should go for, navigraphs or aerosofts. I'm also looking for RNP approaches. A few months back when iFly had there big upgrade and changed there Nav source to Aerosoft, they said Aerosoft navdata was the only Nav data that had RNP approaches with RF lags. Is that still true? I've sence moved to The NGX.

Neither provider is going to have all the real world RNP approaches because a lot of them are made specifically for the airline and authorized only for that airline. These aren't part of the public procedure list.

Also, as of yet, our navdata format doesn't support RF legs anyway.

Navigraph's data has contained RF legs in RNP approaches for as long as I can remember.  However, just because it's in the database doesn't mean an aircraft is set up to fly them.

Do you plan on adding them? Because I really enjoyed flying them with the Ifly.
