I had already gotten today's Aerocache, but decided to fly up there anyway. This is Puu Waa Waa Cinder Cone National Park on the Big Island. I guess those volcanos are still active.

 

 

 

 

There was really no need to triangulate with the VORs - I just looked it up in Google Maps and then flew directly there. B)

 

 

 

 

Instead of flying back to the ranch, I went down to the old Kona airporit, the one with the really rough landing surface. :lol:   My Cub was bouncing around on the runway so much I was afraid of breaking the gear. I suppose this is a golf course nowadays.
