LINDA - MCP Combo II - Level D - Error

Featured Replies

Hi , for 3 days I'm struggling with trying to connect my new MCP Combo 2 LINDA Boeing 767-300 Level D but everything has been useless .

I followed the installation instructions LINDA 1.03 , I have the paid version FSUIPC4 , FSX and Level D with the last update.

This is my error:

FSX Cargo and opens LINDA, when the flight is loaded MCP Combo II communicates perfectly with FSX and the Level D , but the altitude that I get on the display of MCP II is the height of land , ( Example : If I am in an airport with 1,800 feet, this is the height that I appear in the display and the height concide not shown in the Level D which can be 10,000 feet). If I try to increase or decrease the height in the MCP II , one can see how it changes but immediately goes back to 1800 but marking the Level D if set up brand . Example : If 1,000 feet increase in MCP II , this will mark now 1,900 feet but change imediatamente to 1,800 feet. But the Level D panel if properly climbed to 1,900 feet. The same applies to the SPD and HDG dialing on MCP II always front and address even if you change , return to the same value , but if it does well on the panel of Level D.
With the original aircraft FSX if it works fine. Currently I have no error message in LINDA .

Please help, I have sleepless nights and 3 tests and nothing doing. I think it's something in the config file for the Level D LINDA
I only use Level D, is my airplane badge

Have you found anywhere a Level-D module for LINDA?

No?

then it won't work! ;)

But the VRInsight Software does work perfectly with the Level-D.

No need for LINDA in this case

My first step was to install the software logically VRI and effectively communicated well but every time I ascended or descended values HDG, ALT, or SPD, was suffering a fall FSX drastic FPS. In some moments were just the FPS drop that froze the game. For that reason reaches LINDA. What's more, in some document I found that VRI own LINDA was much better than their own software.

Guenseli Could you please tell me how it was that installed your MCP Combo II Boeing with Level D. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks for any help you can give me. Invested a lot of money and I could not make it work.

I own the Level-D but haven't flown her several years now.

One reason that it is a bit outdated, frame-intensive. Other one, that I don't wanted to use the VRInsight software where I ahd to choose before starting FSX what airplane I want to fly (don't know if it is changed nowadays)

So I really can't tell how the 767 behaves.

With LINDA it is not working as there's no module for it. One have to make one.

I tried it, but you could only use mouse macros.

If your next question would be if I'll do a 767 module... sorry no ;)

And then your next question will be how to make a module: please look at the LINDA manuals and the FAQ where some links to threads are provided how to start a module.

All in all it is a relaitive complex process if you aren't in this stuff. In other words, a bit complicated to do and to explain in a few words. Maybe someone have to make a tutorial one day ;)
