October 31, 201312 yr I'm new to FSX and have installed PMDG 737NGX. I was wondering if there was a known fix for Shift+1 MCP image being garbled? None of the MCP buttons work. One time, and only one time, did I press Shift+1 and the image displayed fine. After that, it was back to being garbled. The part that is garbled is the PFD and ND displays. It looks like the are squeezed vertically so instead of them being a normal, say, 12 x12 inches, they are 2 inches high (all blurred) and 12 wide. I did a search for this problem but didn't find a previous post. Thanks for any help. Ralph Freshour www.GMTPilots.com

November 1, 201312 yr Commercial Member This is a limitation of the way the gauges work and it's noted in the Intro manual. You can't use Shift+1 while already in the VC. If you want the 2D cockpit, switch to it via the menu, don't try to bring it up while still in the VC view. So, being new, I guess I missed that point: to use the Shift+1, +2 etc. keys, I have to be in 2D mode? I am in VC mode and all other panels display fine (FMS, over head, center console, etc.) but not Shift+1. So the correct procedure is to switch into 2D mode first, then use Shift+1?
