I've tree pretty much every traffic option out there and to be honest- it had to be WorldOfAI

Just my two pence

There is definitely no "ultimate best" traffic addon. All of them have their pros and cons. If you do a search here, you will find lots of threads about this exact question.

A little overview:

Ultimate Traffic 2:

+ quite accurate flight plans, as I understand it easy to update

+ realistic routes (uses waypoints rather than direct airport to airport like the other options)

+ said to have very nice models

- many not so common airlines not covered, but replaced by the fictional "Daedalus" livery, which to remove is quite a lot of work

Personal remark: I do not use it, since on my old rig I had a horrible performance issue, but I might take the plunge and install it on my new machine and see how it works there. This is why I do not comment on the quality of the models

MyTraffic:

+ lots of different aircraft models, many rather exotic airlines covered

+ historic schedules (if you're into that, you can have Concordes, 707s and 727s crowding the skies)

+ easy on frames (at least there are only few reports of people having performance issues with this one)

+ military and helicopter traffic (choppers behave like STOL planes, though, but that is due to the FSX AI engine)

- the installation process is a bit complicated, and there are many reports of "no AI traffic" due to this process (manual part of the installation skipped)

- Comes in various versions, which can be very confusing at times - the recommended version is currently "Professional 5.4c". Stuff like MyTraffic2013 are packages that have less aircraft, liveries and other features

- only direct airport to airport navigation, can be frustrating in areas with low traffic, but has no effect in the crowded European or American airspaces

I know that if I say this now, there will probably be a serious discussion, but: Many people say that the MTX models are ugly. To be honest, I disagree. The common western aircraft (which every package include) are very good IMO, the only downside are GA (and some less common airliners)

Traffic 360:

+ many different paint schemes create a nice atmosphere

+ well done models

+ includes military (but not to the same extent MTX does)

+ straightforward installation, no manual fiddling with config files (as opposed to MTX)

- only direct airport to airport flight plans, see above

World of AI:

+ freeware

+ comes in single packages for each airline, so you can only install the airlines you need

+ up-to-date fligthplans aivalable from the AVSIM library

- installing these packages can be time-comsuming

- by default, the packages come with FS9 format flightplans, which will lose you all your FSX-native traffic, unless you convert the fligthplans

This all that comes to my mind right now.
