Yesterday i've installed MCE again and also registered it.

 

But i have a lot of problems with it, so bad i cant use it.

 

Here my problem:

 

When loading a flight everything goes as it should. Simon introduces himself and the FO is also in my plane.

But...

 

I'm using MCE with the Feelthere ERJV2 because that is my favorite plane, If I say:"Electrical power up with APU". 

My FO is doing that, but with every switch hey is doing a popup 2d display is opening. Also when looking outside i've found out my view is resetting every 1 minute.

 

This is so not cool that i'm not using MCE. But i want to :unsure:

Another thing is that i'm looking something in my Chrome explorer and FS has been loaded on the departure airport with the FO allready in the plane, Chrome helps opens automatic every ten seconds.

This problem is btw not only in chrome but in every screen on windows, The FO keeps opening my Help options of windows.

 

Also the GSX does not work, Like i said before, Simon is introducing himself and if i say:"Simon, please send the catring service" he responds and makes contact with the services, the only problem there is that nothing happends.

After 10 minuts waiting he said to me it takes longer than expected but they will come. Well, they dont. :angry:

 

Also i would like to know how to make the FO does his flows silently, every switch he makes he is announcing, i dont want that, I only want the FO to say when is he is ready with the flow.

 

My specs are:

 

Intel I5 4650K not overclocked

8GB memory

Gforce 6550 

 

Windows 7 Home included with all updates. (Legal and registered)

UAC Off

FSX Accelaration 

Tried with anti virus on and off.

 

Any ideas? I really wants to use this beautifull software....

I assume option <Exclusive access to recognizer> in <Command> tab of the UI is ticked.

 

Barring that, if Windows Help (which uses F1) is opened by accident, it seems for some reason your simulator is losing the focus, and the F1 key which is sent to interact with GSX ends up being sent to Windows.

 

What other programs are you running siimultaneously?

 

Do you run FS in full screen mode or windowed?

 

Suggest the following...

 

Only start MCE when you are correctly parked at the gate, parking brake set and no engines are running. That would get GSX interaction to perform as expected.

 

 

Also i would like to know how to make the FO does his flows silently, every switch he makes he is announcing, i dont want that, I only want the FO to say when is he is ready with the flow.

 

This one is easy...

 

Go to <Command> tab of the user interface and click <Voxscript> button.

 

You will see a list of voice commands that will trigger flows.

 

You can eventually modify the voice commands themselves to use something more natural to you.

 

Select the command that triggers a particular flow and click <Edit>

 

When the next screen appears, make sure you untick option "Verbose". Click <Save>

 

From then on, FO will perform the flow silently. Do the same for every flow.

 

The reason we make those flows verbose by default is that unlike in the real world where the FO has a physical presence and you can clearly see how far he's got on with his task, it's not the case with a virtual FO.

 

With silent flows, If at any stage you are unsure whether FO is close to completing his task, just ask...

 

Have you completed the flow

Are we done with the flow

Did you finish the flow

.....

...and coutless other variations.

Thanks for the reply, I'll start the MCE when cold and dark at the gate.

Also i run my FS in windowed mode. 

 

The only program running in the background is my Antivirus (AVG) and Skype.

 

And do you know how to prevent the FO contantly opening my 2D panels?

With ubticking "Exclusive access to recognizer" also the system opens up a lot of help windows.

 

Any more options?

For best operation, the speech engine should run inside MCE process (option ticked). Irrespective of whether the simulator has the focus or not, all commands are directed to the simulator. Zero risk of having Windows open browser windows and such.

 

Only untick if you need to run another speech based application that requires MCE to run in that "shared speech engine" mode.

 

ERJ 154 & 135 doesn't have an SDK. We did our best to interface it without one. Some items can be set directly without the need to bring up the 2D panel, others require it (flat type switches).

 

Will see if that interfacing can be improved a bit. But can't make promises.

Suggest you try GSX out with some other supported aircraft.

Are you using the default GSX CTRL+F12 key combo or something else.

 

Did you make any customisation to GSX for use with ERJ 145?

We have good news for you.

 

The few buttons that previously required opening the 2D panel are now interfaced directly in VC.

 

Contact support to obtain the latest ERJ 145 & 135 related dll.
