November 3, 201312 yr I searched for this but found no answer: I have 5 liveries for the 777. On the Continental and Delta livery, I can't remove the chucks and air compressor. I know how, I de-select them in the FMC under GROUND CONNECTIONS. The FMC acknowledges they are off, but the external view shows them there. So I take off dragging the compressor and chucks with me. On the PMDG and AA livery, they indeed get removed and not shown. Why does this work on the AA and PMDG livery and not the Delta or Continental livery?? Is this a bug? or an I doing something wrong? November 3, 201312 yr Commercial Member Is this a bug? or an I doing something wrong? Intro manual. There's a section explaining how to load the aircraft properly. I'm guessing it's just a coincidence that you're loading the PMDG and AA livery properly, so the problem isn't showing up. So, have a look at the intro manual (a good practice if you think you've found a "bug"), and then have a look at the bug tracking thread to see what's been reported, addressed, or isn't a bug. To answer your question, though, load the aircraft properly and you'll be fine. This means that your default flight cannot use the 777, and you can't load the 777 with the same 777 model currently selected. As an example, you can't load a 77L and then another 77L (even though it's a different livery), or a 77F and then another 77F. Kyle Rodgers
November 3, 201312 yr Author I have no problem switching liveries even in mid flight -everything works OK - though I know it's a no-no. This happens on start up flights - If I load the Delta 777, I have the problem. If I switch to the AA one the problem instantly goes away. I switched liveries 10 times with the same repeated results. AA and PMDG fine, Delta and Continental I can't remove chucks). I re-loaded the liveries and the problem went away. Paul Gugliotta
November 3, 201312 yr Commercial Member chucks Chocks... I re-loaded the liveries and the problem went away. Then it's a sim problem, probably. Again, read the intro manual for suggestions. If you have the PMDG 777 of any kind are your default aircraft, this will cause the issue. Kyle Rodgers
