November 5, 201312 yr I think these things are just meant to represent regular towers that may exist in reality.. but often them seem oddly placed and there are many of them in certain scenery areas.. usually non addon areas.. Anyone know their purpose, or is there something glitchy in my sim? November 5, 201312 yr Commercial Member Indeed they are towers (usually radio or tv towers) and indeed they do represent the locations of real world towers and indeed they are the heights of the real world towers. They are part of the FSX default scenery. Real world aviation charts show the locations of these towers and if they are tall enough the even list the height. It's your job as the pilot not to hit them. www.antsairplanes.com
