November 8, 201312 yr I have bought Peter's A380 and I am enjoying starting to learn "The Airbus Way". The representation of the FBW to this newbie seems excellent. Although not normally a "Magenta line / FMS" fan I thought if I was going to try one then I might as well try "The Mother of All Automatics". My problem is I prefer to fly in 3D cockpit with TrackIr using the excellent PilotView for the necessary close-ups of panels. The panels seem sharp even when zoomed in but unfortunately the PFD / MFD's don't, to the point where it can be quite difficult to interpret the information. Given that Ramezzess did the 3D cockpit and this isn't a problem in the T777 am I doing some thing wrong ? What are other users experiences ? Is there anyway to alter this ? Thanks TIM
November 8, 201312 yr I too have a problem with the instrument panels in Peter's A380. I sometimes prefer to use the 2D version, but then I really have difficulty reading some parts of the panel / instruments on my 1366x768 monitor :-( In the 3d I have to zoom a lot to read it, and then I lose peripheral view :-( Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
November 9, 201312 yr 2d works for me. But I found a more annoying bug. If it comes out of time compression, the bus goes into a death spiral and your flight is over. Forced me to fly "Speedbird 269 Super" from EGLL to KLAX in real time. At least the crew cabins were very comfortable.
