November 9, 201312 yr I flew the route RPLL-VVNB between 17:00 and 19:30 zulu on 11/9/2013 and was unable to get from AS2012 weather that was anything close to the real weather (winds, clouds, etc) as I flew across the position of this large typhoon. Route (FL320) : KARAG L628 MESOX DCT BUNTA DCT PHUTA DCT NOB I noticed a few weather stations detected by AS2012 but none was detecting the strong weather at the time. Yet all sites such as http://www.wunderground.com/wundermap/ showed the storm with winds over 100 mph Any ideas of why this happened? November 11, 201312 yr Author Just an update we are working on getting storm data coverage for that area in the near future. Dave, thank you for the prompt response and follow-up. Having seen the responses, I would ask my question in a bit more general fashion: Does AS2010 normally offers weather service to pass onto FSX that comes from known storm tracking sources (in general)? If not, is there any way to know which ones are followed? This will help us set expectations. regards, Alvaro Escorcia AHS712D Alvaro Escorcia KSGR/OMAAAirHispania Virtual AirlineMSFS / ASUS TUF Gaming F15-Refresh-144Hz / 11GenIntel (R)Core (TM) i7-11800H NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX3060GPU / 1TB-Samsung SSD / 32GB-RAM SAMSUNG-SmartMonitor-M7-32"4K

Is this taken care off for the new HiFi release? December 6, 201312 yr Commercial Member We are covering most of the globe currently, but we have a few missing areas or data parse limitations in certain areas, for example the area of Haiyan. This is part of our weather data network and not particularly relevant to any one product. Any of our AS versions that support Hurricane data will use the same system here. We are working on an upgrade scheduled for Q1 2014 which is planned to complete our global coverage and eliminate area-specific parse issues. This will be effective for ASE, AS2012 and ASN simultaneously as the data network is upgraded. We have other coverage improvements planned as part of this upgrade.
