November 11, 201312 yr Hi Guys, I finally got my fully enclosed Cessna 152 flight simulator up and running. Everything looks great on my 42" Sharp Aquos, but I'm looking for the best settings for FSX... Could you guys tell me or point me in the right direction for settings? All this motion enhancement, film mode and color setting stuff have my old head spinning! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Sam "Speed is Life, Altitude is Insurance"
November 11, 201312 yr Just having a look at an aquos manual, you will need to set the AV mode to PC - the other options were things like movie, game etc. Then there should be an option for 'view mode' you want to choose 'dot by dot' and on your computer set it to 1920x1080 resolution. That should be the basics of getting it set up. Take not that if the image is not filling your entire screen then your graphics card driver may be thinking it is a TV and has tried to do some under or overscan which you would then need to adjust in the display driver. You should notice that text is crisp if it is all set up correctly.
