November 12, 201312 yr Hallo guys. M y problem is that i have blurry textures i ll post an image to show you what i mean. The pictures is not taken from me but the problem is the same! Help me please!
November 12, 201312 yr The blurries are caused by high fsx/display driver settings. If sliders and settings are maxed out, fsx will have a hard time rendering the textures. November 13, 201312 yr Commercial Member Keep your screen resolution set to its highest value possible in FSX though, but as Jim says, try turning other things down to free up some video processing. Also, I have noticed that sometimes the speed of transfer of files from your hard drive can have an effect. I find textures update in clarity much faster when the scenery is loading (or unloading) off a SSD. DeanManager - PC Aviator AustraliaRetailing Sim DVD Software, Downloads, Hardware and Accessories
November 13, 201312 yr Author I reset the filtering setting from trillinear to anisotropic and the problem seems to vanish! I also found this http://www.hovercontrol.com/artman/publish/article_103.shtml.
November 13, 201312 yr Commercial Member Oh yes, Anisotropic filtering is a must. I didn't even think to mention that sorry. DeanManager - PC Aviator AustraliaRetailing Sim DVD Software, Downloads, Hardware and Accessories
November 14, 201312 yr Commercial Member Though in the most tweaking recommendations have trillinear filtering! Hmmm, its always been Anisotropic filtering in my book. Clearly using Anisotropic is the best visual tweak for your system, so stick with that DeanManager - PC Aviator AustraliaRetailing Sim DVD Software, Downloads, Hardware and Accessories
