What are some of the highlights of fsx or ftx global/orbx scenery?

In FTX Global, Norway is lovely for some low and slow and Helicopter flying.

 

If you have regions, then PNW is still great for this type of flying, but also Scotland (FTX EU SCO) is the hidden gem.

Plus

 

- NZSI Southern Alps (not Dave's favourite ORBX region!)

- Southern Alaska (especially places where ORBX addon airports exist)

IMO the Alps do look quite nice with FTXG, particularly if you have a more detailed mesh addon.

As Dave and Oliver said, their PNW, SAK and NZ regions are cool, too.

Also (not exactly ORBX, but close to their quality) Tongass Fjords is pretty nice for low and slow, but those extra regions (be it ORBX or Tongass) are of course a bit expensive, so if don't own them already, you might rather take a look at some more default areas (e.g. Norway or the Alps) and see if you really like this kind of flying.
