November 21, 201312 yr Ive done some internet searches but still no positive answer. I have an HD tv id like to hook my PC up to for flight sim. My video card only has a DVI out and my tv only has VGA and HDMI inputs. Can I use a normal DVI to HDMI adapter cord or do i need some sort of converter. Will this work? Thanks for any help at all.

November 22, 201312 yr Moderator You could use a DVI to HDMI adapter, provided you make provision for the audio to be sent via its own cable (mini-plug to whatever is required). HDMI sends both video and audio signals on the same cable. DVI sends only the video signal. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
