December 15, 200421 yr Hello,Just a sim pilot here but I have used a lot of payware! I own both Ultimate Traffic and Mytraffic 2004. For about the last year I have relied on the UT and really never paid attention to the traffic it generated (really quite good). I recently (yesterday) updated to their new schedule (payware) and got a real surprise. The update ruined my traffic installation. It would appear that ANOTHER beta tested payware product got out with "bad data in it". While this is no big deal - just a reinstall back to my old data it did "frost me" a lot. It took me a long time to find the problem and get my sim back on-line.My solution was to go back to my MyTraffic 2004. The install worked fine, the traffic is all there and I am once again flying my sim happily.I am sure that others have the same problem and will also make UT aware of their frustration. Thanks in advance,Ron SagelNear KCHS
December 15, 200421 yr I was just about to get the updated schedule when I found a notice from Flight 1 about the new schedule on their forum> You must have the most recent version of UT or you will get what you got. Even the CD version is one build out of date. Why they couldn't make it back compatible I don't know. I'm not updating as I use UT for ambience. I don't really care if the the flights are on time. etc. I just like a busy airport environment. Mike
December 15, 200421 yr Author Ron, if you follow the instructions, it does install properly. It does take time and it is a bit of a pain, but the installation does work.Link to the installation tips:http://dcforum.simforums.com/cgi-bin/dcfor...CForumID1&omm=0Net result is that you do end up with the latest version of UT and the most recent travel schedule. I think that the latter is perhaps less important than having the most recent version of UT.Hope that is of some use.Ed GreenKCLThttp://www.panelshop.com/DEV.jpg
