How hard can we make this? I have created two lua files and they are in the FSX/Modules directory. I have added them in the [Auto] section of the fsuipc.ini file and no matter what I do, I can't see them in FSUIPC. Why? What do you have to do to get FSUIPC to see them?

I figured out that the filenames cannot have underscores in them. I took out the underscores and now it sees them. Thanks.

File names for the Lua scripts CAN have underscores.

 

I believe what you encountered was exceeding the maximum file name length. I had run

across that quite some time ago.  I believe the max length is 16 characters.

 

All my Lua scripts have underscores in the name so I know that they are accepted.

Ok. Thanks very much Paul. I will try that later tonight. That would explain why one of my scripts still didn't show up. It had one extra character to it and I bet it was over 16(away from pc now so not sure).
