November 27, 201312 yr I'm trying to reinstall FSX. Part way through the process I get an Error 1311 Source file not found... D2Feat~1.cab It is on the DVD and I can open it and see the individual files in it - all with long meaningless names. Obviously I've cleaned the DVD and re-tried several times without success. I also copied the files from the FSX DVD to my hard drive and tried from there but got the same error. Any ideas? Gerry Howard
November 27, 201312 yr Do you have any anti-virus programs running? Did you disable User Access Controls? Did you right click the FSX installer and select Run as Administrator?
