November 28, 201312 yr Commercial Member I find both default/Project OpenSky 737 flight models to arcadish. Is there any good, close to realistic aircraft.cfg file? Does anyone know what is the best freeware 737 package in terms of flight physics (model)? I'm also interested in freeware 767. Shoot. Thank you in advance. November 30, 201312 yr There was a discussion on FSDev from someone who tackled improving the 737's FDE, but I don't know if he ever published the results (or got any at all). You can try some FDE shenanigans yourself, like experimenting with merging the FDE from Kittyhawk's FS9 737 models or reading through the FSX SDK to do any necessary changes yourself. There's Skyspirit's 767 model (Google!), but it doesn't come with a VC. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
December 1, 201312 yr Author Commercial Member I have SkySpirit's 767 that comes with an Airbus A300 Cockpit (I don't mind really), but I didn't tested it yet simply because the flight model on QW 757 and CLS MD 80 is sooo much better than on freeware planes, I can't resist to fly them. It doesn't matter to me how is the flight model when crusing or climbing if it is realistic speed/climb wise. But I noticed that when I land default 737, it is apsolutely not rewarding, like driving a car in a Need For Speed game. But when I land QW 757 or CLS MD 80, the feel is so rewarding and good. It is the climax of every flight, so it must be rewarding. Only freeware plane that is so-so rewarding on landings is Project Airbus A320 v3.
