December 1, 201312 yr if I am not in full-screen mode and select Options|Setting|Display the pop-up window is too big for my 1440 * 900 monitor and the OK and Cancel buttons are not visible. Dragging the window shows the top half of the buttons but, on releasing the mouse the window snaps back to its original position. there is no problem in full-screen mode. if I select Map in flight (World|Map) then click OK Prepare3D shows a pop-up while it reloads scenery objects, terrain data, and air traffic control every time. One of the map's primary uses in FSX and P3D is to allow the user to move their aircraft to a specific point in the world via their mouse. Clicking OK confirms the location and causes the sim to load the flight there. While it's a bit silly for it to reload if the aircraft hasn't been moved, OK in this case is a confirmation to apply changes. Brandon Filer
December 1, 201312 yr Author Another primary use of the map is check position which doesn't need any reloading. Reloading didn't happen in FSX unless the aircraft was moved. For some reason Lockheed Martin has omitted a simple test and triggered a pointless and irritating reload. Gerry Howard
