December 19, 200421 yr Whenever I put down the landing gear in the Vistaliners 727-200 it won't go down until I lower my speed to 200 kts. The landing gear won't lower at any speed faster than 200 kts but once I hit 200 kts it will lower even if I pull the lever down at a faster speed. I also get a message saying the gear down speed has been exceeded at a speed faster than 200 kts if I attempt to lower the landing gear. Isn't the maximum gear down speed 270 kts in the 727-200?
December 20, 200421 yr Commercial Member 270 kts is the documented limitation, but the gear has no form of mechanical limit built in i.e it will extend if you pull the the lever.......regardless of speed. Hence it being nicknamed the emergency airbrake :-)As for the problem on the model you're using, I've no idea as I have my own to play with :-)http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...BANNER_PAUL.jpg Cheers Paul Golding
December 20, 200421 yr I have a similar problem with the Dreamfleet 727-200. The landing gear on the DF 727-200 won't lower until I'm down to 250 kts. I was in spot view while doing this.
December 20, 200421 yr It's in the contact points. Somewhere there's a number that'll say 200, increase it to whatever speed you wish.
