December 24, 200421 yr Johan,Very cool, Now I have some Connie reading when I am not flying. By the way, I had an interesting day flying the Connie today. Wake turbulence ( care of Active Sky and ATC) on short final behind a 767 which jumped in front of me on the ILS and my Connie did a power dive straight into the runway threshold despite my attempts to pull the nose up with full power and much back pressure on yoke... Ouch !!!Well I was not to be dismayed by that, so I did another flight and this time I slowed way down on final to leave a good 5 mile gap between the plane in front and mine. When I touched down, the nosewheel landed with one tire on each side of the runway centerline. :) Played that replay about 5 times . It doesn't get any better than that...
December 24, 200421 yr Yes...that is one SHWEET freeware! Tom Gibson has said that there will be a whole series of models of the Connie in the future. I believe the next is the L0749. Eventually we will get to some tip tanks!! What do you call a whole hangar full of Connie's?? A "herd"?LOL Vic Victor Buck
