December 23, 200421 yr Just curious...for those of you who have multiple traffic.bgl files, what criteria did you use to make each? I mean, did you make each by airline, region, country, or other criteria?

December 24, 200421 yr 1. One created with Ultimate Traffic2. A second one created with UT but using VHHX instead of VHHH. This way I can switch my traffic based on which airport I wish to use for a while.3. One created with GA-Traffic.4. A few small custom ones I created from scratch for smaller regional airports I use a lot (Palm Springs, Lake Tahoe). This way I can mix-n-match depending where I tend to fly. December 24, 200421 yr So, when you want to use a different Traffic BGL you just rename the other ones to something like Traffic.LGL and change the one you want to use to Traffic.bgl? Is that correct? December 24, 200421 yr I have one for FedEx (probably available in the library) and another that I created airline by airline from the PAI pakages... I disabled 'My Traffic' because of poor regionalization and an Atkinson whatever that kept reporting an altitude that implied re-entry...DJ
December 24, 200421 yr FS2004 allows you to have many traffic bgl files. The only thing you need to be converned about is having the same AI flight listed in different traffic files. I currently have 192 different traffic files coexisting quite nicely. The first thing I did was delete the default traffic file since I had no desire to have the sky populated with Landmark and Orbit Airlines flights. Then I downloaded actual AI flightplans of various airlines from http://www.mostrealisticai.com and installed AI planes and textures mostly from http://www.projectai.com. That gave me the airlines. Each airline has its own traffic bgl file. Then I downloaded a program available from AVSIM called ga-traffic_setup.zip which will generate General Aviation traffic all over the world. Doug
December 24, 200421 yr Author You can install them just like any other add-on scenery, and enable or disable them due the scenery manager in FS.Do not forget the get the default traffic.bgl also out of its place and make it like any other add-ons scnenery.Merry x-mas.Johan[A HREF=http://jdserver.no-ip.com]Personal Server[/A]or..http://62.238.33.10
