Uninstall your drivers via control panel add/remove software. Then use regcleaner to remove other ATI references from you registery. Do this before you shut down you machine to install the new hardware. Install your new vid card and then new drivers per instructions with the hardware. Go to their site next and grab the latest drivers and upgrade to those. Should do the trick for ya.Dave

where can I get regcleaner?

Don't know about regcleaner but there is an excellent freeware program called Driver Cleaner available at www.driverheaven.netwhich will clean all of the prior entries out for you. Be sure to read the readme that comes with it and follow the instructions.Happy Holidays,Ed GreenKCLThttp://www.panelshop.com/DEV.jpg

You can get it from all sorts of utility sites. Just do a Google search on regcleaner.Dave

Remove any ATI entries from Add/Remove, don't reboot, then use the ATI Uninstall utility from their driver page, reboot in safe mode- run Driver Cleaner 3.
