December 27, 200421 yr When we used FS98, 2000 and even 2002, I used to fly a lot in Alaska as a virtual bush pilot. There were many very talented scenery designers doing great work. We had a lot of add-ons on a smaller airports and a lot of cabins around Alaska (even before FS-water was landable). They really challenged the skills of virtual busk pilots. Is this all gone? Where are small strips and cabins for FS9? Where are all those designers who did that great job? Where are the new designers who can follow their steps?http://www.kotiposti.net/syrjamaki/maambanner.jpg

December 27, 200421 yr Don't know whether you are incuding payware in your topic or not. If so in spite of being a little bit pricey, Misty Fjords is dandy scenery of a portion of Alaska (IMHO). There are a number of cabins included. For freeware scenery take a peek at the following (All or portions of which may not be compatible with Misty Fjords above):attfs9.zip (Alaska Bush Pilot)fishers.zip (Fisher's Depot)mccordsl.zip (McCords Landing)sitka.zip (City of Sitka, one of my favorite places on earth)misty_fjords_cabins_update.zip (freeware cabins by Milt Chambers This is not any part of the payware mentioned above and is not compatible with it. Frankly I think the cabins (only) are superior to the payware. The overall scenery of the payware is superb though (IMHO)American Data also includes roads for Alaska. If you prefer USA roads you can include only the Alaska portion.Hope this is of some help.Happy flying:RTH
December 27, 200421 yr Do a search in the file library for Feather Sherman. She has compiled a scenery catalog for the Alaska region as well as othewr parts of the world that may be a help to you.Brian

December 27, 200421 yr The Misty Fjords fan site, Misty Moorings (http://www.mistymoorings.com/) has a bunch of add-on sceneries as well. They probably won't work very well without the base package, though.Gotta say that I do like the commercial product though. I spend a lot of time flying around Ketchikan.Ian P.
