December 21, 201312 yr Author Commercial Member Yes FGFS is catching up. I remember saying, only some months ago, that fgfs scenery is ugly. But now FGFS is not far behind X-Plane anymore at least with my new PC (see my profile). And there's also the soon to arrive photoscenery.
December 21, 201312 yr Flightmodel wise FSFG can also be challenging. It's open since the beginning of it's existence to external FDEs, and uses JSBSim in most of the models, which can render good models if data available. There is already a nice PC-12 available for FSFG. Were you, by any chance, the creator of that model? December 21, 201312 yr Author Commercial Member No, but it comes along nicely, although it still needs a lot of work in the cockpit. My favourites are the B1900 and the Citation X apart the stunning IAR 80 which has been removed for some weird reasons: http://wiki.flightgear.org/IAR_80 I can't say much about the flightmodel but the above fly perfectly. No luck in compiling the photoscenery for now. Maybe I try again...

FGFS is getting better, but still way far behind, but......... I am hopeful for the upcoming release early next year to see what they can put together. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations
