I am getting the Just Flight's Airbus a330/340 for Xmas. I have Wilco's Airbus Vol. 2 deluxe now and do not like the models. I tried to search on how to merge the Wilco panel to the CLS model. Not sure if I will do it right. Do I copy the panel from Wilco's to the CLS folder? Or the CLS model and textures to the Wilco folder? I found the guide to do it on Avsim but it tells me to copy the model and change the aircraft.cfg file on the Wilco. Not too sure what to do to get the CLS models/textures with a Wilco panel.

This is how I did it.

 

-Create a new folder.  I called mine "Wilco-CLS A332FPW".

 

-Except for the .air, sound and panel files, copy all the other context from the orginal CLS airbus folder into the new folder.

 

-Copy the .air, sound, and panel files from the orginal Wilco airbus folder and paste them into the new folder.

 

-Go back to the orginal CLS airbus folder and right click on the .air file and select rename.  COPY the text information.

 

-Go to the new folder and right click on the .air file and select rename.  Paste the text you copied.

 

-Drag the new folder into your aircraft file in FSX.

 

You'll most likely have to delete some of the other CLS folders/aircraft because the titles from orginal CLS aircraft will conflict with the same names from the new folder.

 

You may also have to adjust some of the information in the aircraft folder but off the top of my head, I can't remember what info needs to be amended.

 

That should get you started!

Well I merged the CLS A330RR into the Wilco A333RR. Found how to on Avsim. It works great!

Hi, is there any way to merge the wilco a330 panel with the default A321?
