December 23, 201312 yr yes I do Than X-ivap is not yet 64 bit. That could be your issue. run XPX 32 bit. I tried it in the demo works in 32 bit. else try vatsim Xsquawkbox has 64 bit support Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

December 24, 201312 yr Author You are right but I read it. only in the former thread I was focussed on the netflight and there i have the problem that gizmo plugin gives crashes in netflight lateron I have installed vatsim and that works well. Last night someone mentioned to me to go for ivap so i installed. I had heard there should be a 64 bits beta in ivap but it turns out negative. I was not aware of the fact that 32 bits should not work at all. So Yes I read your posting and thanks for it. paula
December 24, 201312 yr There is an X-Ivap for XPX 64bits, but it is forbidden to use on IVAO. It is allowed on another network (but not Vatsim). Stéphane LI-THIAO-TE Envoyé de mon iPad à l'aide de Tapatalk HD Location : FMEE
December 24, 201312 yr Author I found that one and put the complete software in resources and plugin. The problem I have is that within the game I dont see the plugin any idea what the reason could be? paula
December 25, 201312 yr I found that one and put the complete software in resources and plugin. The problem I have is that within the game I dont see the plugin any idea what the reason could be? What he meant was the 64 bit X-ivap plugin is not meant to be used with IVAO and it will not connect to IVAO. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
December 25, 201312 yr If you want to use X-IVAP (32bits) on IVAO, you need to start XPX 32 Bits. If you want to use X-IVAP (64bits) on the other Network (other than VATSIM and other than IVAO), you need to start XPX 64 bits. If you want to use XSquawkbox (64bits) on VATSIM, you need to start XPX 64bits. If you want to use XSquawkbox (32bits) on VATSIM or on IVAO, you need to start XPX 32 bits. Stephane Location : FMEE
December 25, 201312 yr Author 1- I have xpx 64 bits and installed x-ivap 64 bits for flying online with x-flightserver.net I put the the complete software in resources/plugins If I start up xpx then I dont see witin the game the plugin x-ivap thats the problem I uninstalled all other plugins but didnot work eighter. I renewed the xpx 64 with updater but didnot work. The only thing what I can conclude is that one of them or not working with windows 8.1 I gave it also a try with compabilitymodes w7 but didnot work also. any other idea to try would be welcome paula
December 27, 201312 yr I installed today x-ivap and unzipped it after full index and update(ok) in resources and plugins I put in the cls updater and x-ivap resources folder after starting up x-plane I dont see in the plugins this ivap did I forget something? I having tried to install the Windows version, but the 64 bit version for Windows, Linux and Mac are provided on the IVAO site. I downloaded the Linux version and had no problem installing, running, and connecting to IVAO with it. The Linux readme says put the contents of the for_plugins_folder into the Resources/plugins folder. That was all I did initially and like you, I didn't get the addon's menu. I exited X-Plane and added the libfmodex64.so file to the Resources/plugins folder and restarted X-Plane. This gave me success. -- L. James -- L. D. James [email protected] www.apollo3.com/~ljames
