Simconnect version (SP) determination?

Featured Replies

I have Simconnect Client installed on my secondary (client) laptop.  How can I determine which version (Service Pack) is installed;   and if I need to update

it to SP2,  where can I download SP2?

Also, must the Simconnect Client version match a specific version of the Simconnect “server” which is installed on my server PC, or are the Simconnect server

and client versions independent?

Thank you,

Ken Boardman

The best explanation is from HiFi - http://was.hifisim.com/ASXDocumentation/networkedconfig.html.   Just modify it for your situation.

Thank you for responding Jim.  I was having a startup and connection problem with HiFi's ASNext.  The problem solved itself after

I ran Windows Update on my Server >Win 7-64 and Client >Vista 32 machines and allowed installation of all "Critical" updates.

Best regards,

Ken
