December 31, 201312 yr I once created a VATSIM account, but no longer recall it's details... I might create a new one, not to fly online but rather tu use XSqaukBox for weather injection... Is this functionality available, even if you do not want to fly online? How does it perform regarding injection of aloft winds, temperatures, etc? XSB64 seems to have multiple outstanding issues and has been nothing but a source of pain since its recent update. The most advanced weather injector is currently the NOAA plugin. The main issue with all existing solutions thus far is that they all talk to the default set of X-Plane datarefs, these datarefs are all localised to the players aircraft. There is no concept of regional data over a wide area in-sim. This is because X-Plane only presents a localised set of data to talk to and up until now has been the only sky-effect generator available, which in turn made it pointless to create a WX injector that attempts to work over a wider area. December 31, 201312 yr Author Thx Ben for the prompt and very informative response! Ok, I'll pass on this one - I believe I'll look forward for: 1) LR creating the necessary hooks in the sim for wider area coverage and weather injection 2) Som 3pd to go ahead and merge, for instance, what was achieved with SkyMaxx Pro and the NOAA plugin. BTW the NOAA plugin no longer works correctly after 10.25 :-/ Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
