[P3D] Bought a GTX780 after all

But, did you also remember to delete the Prepar3d.cfg file and allow P3D to create a new one?

Ya think I'm stupid??? :P

How much time did you actually spend evaluating the new card? ;)

Around 3 to 4 hours or so in one 'testing session'. There were only a few things to figure out and test so I didn't need days for it. ^_^ After a few minutes or so doubt already crept in, I have to say, but I did test various combinations and options. During the first two hours or so I wanted to give the card the benefit of the doubt, but well, when I spend 450 on something like this, I don't want to have any doubts: I want it to be crystal clear that it's a major improvement. And to me it wasn't.

And let me repeat: I noticed the card was better and some might have found the improvement big enough, but to me it seemed wiser to send the card back and go for a new up to date system later on this year. I am happy I tested the card, I also have to say: I know now what to expect of such an upgrade and up to now I didn't really know what to think of it. I don't have to think about that anymore all the time. ^_^ And, oddly enough, I now enjoy flying more than I did before because I'm not constantly thinking about upgrading anymore.
