Iphone 5 apps

Anyone aware of any good apps that integrate well with X plane 10.25? Specifically FMC's, and something that can control the basic radios and AP in the cessna etc...?

Cheers and happy new year!

Soooo, I download the remote flight AP and RADIO app for iphone (as I don't have an ipad) and then install xuipc and then I'm good to go?!

You 'should' be good to go...  ^_^

The RF app will also need a server applet installed on the X-Plane box that will communicate with XPUIPC.

Ok, so I need to get Xuipc, and I have bought the Remote flight Auto pilot app, and the comm app and the nav app.

Where do I get this 'server applet' and is it easy to install?

Thanks!

Nice one thanks! I'll look forward to giving it a go with the Carenado Caravan:)

There's also this amazing app

Which I use on every flight on my ipad (you can even run multiple copies of it on different iOS devices simultaneously).

And I see they have just released an fmc app, haven't tried it yet, but if it's anything like the quality of airtrack it would be worth getting...

So, Airtrack allows me to say for example, control the radios and autopilot in the carenado caravan?

Ian

Yep sure does. I use it with the carenado caravan myself and it allows you to change the radios etc very easily. Among many other very useful things - the EFIS MFD panel alone is amazing!
