Hello

 

I have just change my old MOBO for a new one which is ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0

 

My pc start as normal.I can install etc. bur when I turn on the PC there is not that sound that it is nomally do like a beeeeep.

 

Any ideas.

The new ASUS boards don't beep. I got a new computer from Digital Storm several months ago with that board. Good choice.

Some purchased PCs don't come with the mini speaker plugged into the motherboard, that enables you to hear the POST beeps.

 

It's nothing to do with the fact that it's a newer MB.

 

You can install a speaker yourself if you desire.
