TWA liveries still, around?

Featured Replies

Watching episode one of the UK Channel 4 documentary series "Terror in the Skies", I was amazed to see (about 15 minutes in) a  L1101 sporting the TWA logo (and lit up). This was as an A380 was landing, so it's not old film, unless the film company goofed somehow..

Any idea what this can be?

I would think only the odd TWA livery in storage, certainly not at an airport with an L1011 And 727....but No doubt we'll being seeing a new aircraft with TWA scheme soon :yahoo:

Can only assume, though the sequence was supposed to show a Qantas A380 landing, it's archive film they used - and got things very wrong!
