MS FSINSIDER Web page opens on voxscript and voice command

Featured Replies

Using MCE with the PMDG 747-400 for FSX for the first time, I created a preflight voxscript since none existed for this plane. All went well except couldn't find valid commands for a couple of items (More on that below) It was setting up the bleed airs but when it went to  turn on "Air Bleed four on" (1 2 and 3 there was no problem) instead of turning it on it opened up the MS FSInsider webpage, on my firefox browser. Thinking the problem was in the script, I tried just using a voice command to turn it on, same thing happened. Is it just a coincidence you use fsinsider.dll and .ini files? Here's the script I used, I didn't add pauses to most commands, but MCE handled it well, except for the above.

On a side note, are there commands to close the guards on switches that have them (Like the EEC switches). Also are there commands to control the second ground power switch, and to set the 4th hydraulic demand pump to Aux?

Here is the script I made

Nope, nothing wrong with your script.

This is a know issue.

The other one is engine anti-ice 2 & 3 not working.

FO can handle just about any switch cover. However we didn't deem it necessary to provide voice commands for that purpose. It's all hard coded.

With current implementation, switch covers will always be set to normal, when switch is set to the default position.

Cover will be left raised, when its switch is set to the alternate position. This is to remind you about the abnormal situation you are in.

Is there a particular switch whose cover isn't behaving as expected?

Thanks for the response, yes the EEC switches I mentioned. I start out with  them off and the covers raised. When I execute the script o by voice command The switches turn on (Actually to NORM) but the covers stay raised. If I start out with the covers lowered though they will stay lowered. Note the PMDG 747-400 doesn't normally turn on (Or go to it's normal state) when guard is lowered, as we see in more recent models like the NGX, so maybe that's the problem, they aren't connected in the model?

Thanks

Starting with latest package, MCE now ships with pre-made scripts for PMDG 747. There is also a full flows manual enclosed.
